TEXAS REENTRY PREPARATION & SUPPORT

A stronger start.
Before release.
And after.

Preparing for release and rebuilding life after prison

GoingHome teaches practical skills inside Texas prisons, then connects people coming home with organizations that offer housing, jobs, transportation, food, coaching, and Christian community.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE POSSIBILITY

Faithful support.
Lasting impact.

Grateful for the people and organizations who help turn preparation into a new beginning.

A PLACE FOR EVERYONE WHO CARES

Different roles.
A shared way forward.

For families, returning citizens (people coming home after prison), organizations offering practical help, and the people who make this work possible.

FAMILY DOCUMENT SUPPORT · PREPARATION ONLY FOR NOW

Your support.
In their hands.

Families of current GoingHome participants can send support letters and documents for a parole packet: an organized collection of plans, support letters, and documents for the parole board. Our team checks participant details against program records before printing and distributing documents.

Start with their full name, Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) number, and prison name so every document can be matched to the right person.

Free for families of current GoingHome participants. Review the full name, TDCJ number, and prison before sending.

A PLAN.
A PURPOSE.
A WAY FORWARD.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CARRY HOME

More than a packet.
A plan to live by.

The parole plan is both a professional presentation to the parole board and a real action plan for rebuilding life after release.

Across five classes, participants prepare for employment, finances, family relationships, and daily life—with trained mentors who are incarcerated and certified community volunteers alongside them.
